Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Unveils Slide Rail, Rotating Seats, and Battery Safety Tech Details

On August 2, Xiaomi Auto unveiled technical details of its new Pengcheng series vehicles. The Pengcheng N90 Max features seat rails extending up to 1,938 mm in length, crafted from 7000-series reinforced aluminum alloy, offering a 9% increase in tensile strength compared to conventional materials. The seat rotation function has undergone 5,500 durability cycles under extreme temperature conditions to ensure operational safety. The model also supports versatile cabin configurations—including a sliding center console, face-to-face lounge seating, and a personal workspace—adapting to multiple usage scenarios. In terms of driving performance, the vehicle boasts a turning radius of 5.95 meters, delivering excellent visibility and refined suspension dynamics. It is also equipped with low-speed crawling lights to enhance nighttime driving safety. Its Xiaomi Longjia battery pack demonstrates superior thermal safety: even when a single cell experiences thermal runaway at 55°C under full charge, the pack prevents thermal propagation and remains non-flammable and non-explosive—exceeding national safety standards.
