Huawei Harmony Intelligent Mobility Unveils the Luxurious Tech SUV Enjoyer G9, Highlighting All-Terrain Capability and Physical Button Controls

On August 2, Peng Lei, Product Director of Huawei Smart Selection Vehicles, unveiled the design philosophy behind the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Xingjie G9. Positioned as a tech-luxury SUV, the vehicle balances urban driving comfort with off-road capability and emphasizes a "blind-operation" experience, enhanced by the addition of "Parisian knurled mechanical buttons" for improved usability. The cabin features three dedicated physical control zones for chassis handling, cockpit driving enjoyment, and outdoor functions. The Xingjie G9 is equipped with three locking differentials that integrate mechanical and electronic systems, enabling all-terrain driving, seamless locker engagement, and robust off-road recovery capabilities. It also features a rear-wheel steering system, granting it turning agility comparable to that of a compact car. As Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s first rugged tech-luxury SUV, the Xingjie G9 comes standard across all trims with Huawei’s self-developed electric motor, all-wheel-drive system, and 800V high-voltage extended-range technology, delivering a combined range exceeding 1,300 kilometers. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle comes standard with Huawei’s 896-line LiDAR and is further equipped with three solid-state LiDAR units, supporting full-scenario advanced driver-assistance functions. For interior controls, in addition to the central console, the center armrest includes knobs and physical buttons, and the overhead front console also retains tactile controls to enhance operational efficiency across diverse scenarios.
