BYD released its July vehicle sales figures on August 1, reporting total sales of 419,211 units for the month, an increase of 21.76% year-over-year. Of this, overseas sales reached a record high of 179,841 units, surging 124.3% year-over-year. Sales from the Dynasty and Ocean series combined totaled 350,178 units. The Fangchengbao series sold 41,213 units, up 190.6% year-over-year and 15.7% month-over-month. The Denza brand recorded sales of 19,196 units, while Yangwang sold 485 units. From January to July 2024, BYD’s cumulative sales exceeded 2.227 million units, bringing its all-time cumulative sales of new energy vehicles to over 17.3 million units.
