On August 2, BYD's Fangchengbao brand released a teaser video for its new model, the "Titanium 9," showcasing its side profile and stating that the launch is "not far off." Previously, on June 30, Xiong Tianbo, General Manager of BYD Group's Fangchengbao Division, revealed that both the Titanium 9 and the Fangcheng S would debut in the second half of the year and are currently undergoing final refinements. Spy photos of the Titanium 9’s interior and exterior have since surfaced online, suggesting it will be a full-size, boxy SUV featuring a six-seat layout and carrying forward Fangchengbao’s signature design language. In terms of powertrain, the Titanium 9 is expected to adopt the same system as the Leopard 8—combining a 2.0T turbocharged engine with dual electric motors—to deliver a combined output of 550 kW and 760 N·m of torque. Official details remain limited for now.
