Xiaomi Auto has recently addressed several user concerns regarding its Pengcheng series vehicles. Built on Xiaomi’s Kunlun platform, the Pengcheng series achieves a completely flat floor from the first to the third row through a highly integrated coaxial rear electric drive, a flush battery pack design, and a 60L extra-large fuel tank layout. The rear floor thickness measures just 298 mm—approximately 200 mm thinner than SUVs of similar size—and features a minimal floor incline of only 2.95°. Regarding the long seat slide rails, Xiaomi stated they are made of 7-series reinforced aluminum alloy, with a peel strength reaching up to 57,000 N. These rails have undergone 15,000 sliding cycles in environmental conditions ranging from -20°C to 60°C, demonstrating no looseness or abnormal noise. Routine cleaning requires only a vacuum cleaner or a damp cloth, with no special maintenance needed. In terms of wear characteristics and maintenance logic, these rails are consistent with those of conventional passenger vehicles and impose no additional usage burden. In terms of range, the Pengcheng N70 Max is equipped with a 76 kWh ternary lithium battery, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 505 km. The N90 Max offers a maximum combined range of 1,705 km (CLTC), with a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.26 L/100 km under low-battery conditions. For fast charging, the N90 Max can add up to 285 km (CLTC) of range in just 15 minutes, and real-world testing shows over 99% compatibility success rate with public charging stations. For convenience features, the N90 Max offers an optional electric running board that automatically extends upon door opening. The step height is 192 mm above ground, while the lowest interior sill height is 401 mm. Combined with a nearly 90° rear door opening angle and B-pillar grab handles, this setup facilitates easy entry and exit for elderly passengers and children. The vehicle also provides a minimum interior standing height of 1,233 mm, allowing preschool-aged children to move around freely inside. On driver assistance, the N90 Max boasts a turning radius of 5.95 m and an A-pillar blind spot angle of only 3.3°. It also introduces a rear-facing solid-state LiDAR with a horizontal field of view of 140° and a vertical field of view of 105°, capable of detecting steps, deep ditches, overhanging obstacles, and height-restriction structures. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a low-speed crawling light that automatically illuminates when traveling below 10 km/h, enhancing safety during nighttime maneuvers on narrow roads and while parking.
