Geely Galaxy E8 Arrives at Dealerships Mid-August, Revealing Design, Interior, and Powertrain Details

The Geely Galaxy Warship 700 is expected to arrive at dealerships starting in mid-August. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, it features a plug-in hybrid powertrain and comes standard across all trims with a 47.14 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 305 km. Exterior-wise, the vehicle adopts a bold, boxy design language. Its front fascia, dubbed the "Oriental Awakening Lion," is paired with "Celestial Eye" LED headlamps. The hood features flat air vents and pronounced character lines. Six exterior color options are available: Baili Danxia Orange, Motuo Cangluan Green, Sayram Lake Blue, Midui Glacier Silver, Everest White Rock Beige, and Yadan Obsidian Black. The side profile showcases straight, clean lines, complemented by conventional door handles and automatic retractable running boards. At the rear, a side-hinged tailgate and externally mounted spare tire enhance its rugged appeal. With an approach angle of 30°, departure angle of 31°, and a minimum ground clearance of 233 mm in unladen condition, the SUV offers strong off-road capability. Inside, the cabin features a minimalist layout with a well-layered dashboard. It integrates a five-screen interactive system powered by Geely’s Super EVA infotainment platform. Both driver and front passenger seats offer 14-point massage functionality, and an 18.5-liter in-car refrigerator is included. Under the hood, the Warship 700 is offered with a triple-motor all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid system combining either a 2.0T or 1.5T engine. The battery pack is supplied by CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited).
