On August 3, Changan Mazda rolled out a new round of over-the-air (OTA) vehicle software updates for the MAZDA EZ-60. This update does not involve adjustments to hardware-related functions such as intelligent driving or chassis systems; instead, it focuses on expanding the smart cockpit application ecosystem by simultaneously launching 15 new apps across four categories—audio/video, news/information, casual gaming, and more—to better suit diverse in-car usage scenarios. The newly added applications include audio/video content platforms like CCTV Video, Tuju Box (short-form dramas), and Kuwo Music Lite; news/information services such as The Paper and AjiMidu; and lightweight games including Tetris, Gomoku, and Minesweeper—catering to entertainment and information needs during long-distance travel, daily commutes, parking, camping, and other situations. Since the launch of the EZ-60, Changan Mazda has continuously delivered OTA updates. Previous versions optimized features like the naked-eye 3D HUD navigation and customizable parking assistance. This latest update specifically addresses gaps in cockpit capabilities related to entertainment, information access, and leisure activities. A concurrent promotional offer is valid until August 31. Customers purchasing any EZ-60 model during this period can receive up to RMB 20,000 in national trade-in subsidies, along with four additional brand benefits: up to RMB 7,000 in trade-in incentives, lifetime self-ignition protection coverage valued at RMB 7,999 (transferable and mileage-unlimited), a RMB 3,000 free customization credit, and a 0% down payment, five-year low-interest financing plan (with an annual percentage rate of 1.99%).
