Allegro Q1 FY2027 Revenue Up 27% YoY, Driven by Data Center and xEV Segments

Allegro MicroSystems released its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (ended June 26, 2026) on August 3, 2026. The company reported total net sales of $259.2 million for the quarter, an increase of 27% year-over-year, marking its sixth consecutive quarter of sales growth. Data center business made a significant contribution, accounting for 17% of total sales, while xEV (electric vehicles) and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) businesses also continued to show strong growth. In terms of profitability, GAAP gross margin was 48.5%, up from 47.0% in the prior quarter and 44.9% in the same period last year. Non-GAAP gross margin stood at 51.1%. GAAP operating margin improved significantly to 9.8%, compared to 2.2% in the prior quarter and -1.3% in the year-ago period. Non-GAAP operating margin was 19.4%. GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) were $0.08, compared to a loss of $0.07 per share in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP diluted EPS was $0.23, more than 2.5 times higher year-over-year, and marked the fifth consecutive quarter of growth. The company expects total net sales for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 (ending September 25, 2026) to be in the range of $265 million to $275 million, representing approximately 26% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. Non-GAAP gross margin is expected to be between 50.75% and 51.75%, and non-GAAP diluted EPS is forecast to be in the range of $0.23 to $0.26, reflecting an approximate 88% year-over-year increase at the midpoint.
