XPeng Motors has recently unveiled the official interior images and technical specifications of its new flagship large five-seater SUV, the G9L. The vehicle introduces the "Cosmic First-Class Cabin" design concept, featuring a new Sahara Orange color scheme, a large floating central touchscreen, and an 88-inch AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) system. The cabin adopts a dual-floating center console layout, integrating dual 50W smart retractable wireless charging modules and interconnected cup holders. The rear seats are equipped with a 21.4-inch entertainment screen, and the entire vehicle features a 9-inch streaming rearview mirror. The G9L debuts XPeng’s full-body AI adaptive seating technology, which intelligently conforms to passengers of varying body types. Built on the GX platform, the G9L complies with the five-star safety standards of four major global authorities and incorporates aerospace-grade safety redundancy design. Comfort features include a dual-zone in-car refrigerator, an intelligent quad-motor executive center console, a 33-speaker audio system, and a trunk capacity of 1,152 liters. In terms of intelligent driving, the G9L will be equipped with XPeng’s upgraded second-generation Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model, enhancing its advanced driver-assistance capabilities. Exterior-wise, the G9L undergoes a systematic redesign based on the original G9. While retaining the signature light bar across the front fascia, it features revised internal lighting structures. The lower light clusters have been repositioned downward and seamlessly integrated into a continuous grille. The vehicle is also equipped with AI-powered digital projection headlights and offers two new exterior colors: Provence Purple and Tuscany Green. The A-pillar on the side profile features sharper angles, complemented by new wheel designs. Dimensions measure 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782/1,788/1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. At the rear, the贯穿式 tail lamps have been enlarged and feature a blacked-out finish, while the rear bumper design has been refreshed. Powertrain options include both all-electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The BEV version is powered by a 270 kW electric motor and offers two battery packs—91.9 kWh and 110 kWh—with CLTC-rated ranges of 672/702 km and 725/755/775/805 km, respectively. The PHEV variant combines a 1.5T engine (110 kW) with an electric motor. All models come standard with an 800V high-voltage ultra-fast charging system, capable of adding 450 km of range in just nine minutes.
