Recently, spy photos of the new domestically produced Mercedes-Benz C-Class plug-in hybrid undergoing road testing have been leaked. The vehicle adopts Mercedes-Benz’s latest family design language, featuring a larger shield-shaped front grille adorned with horizontal chrome accents and the iconic three-pointed star emblem. The headlights incorporate next-generation daytime running lights in a three-pointed star motif. The car measures 4,882 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,954 mm. The taillight clusters at the rear also integrate the three-pointed star design element. Details regarding the interior layout and powertrain configuration remain undisclosed. The current C350eL model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine paired with a front-mounted electric motor, delivering a combined system output of 250 kW and offering a WLTC-rated all-electric range of 126 kilometers, with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of RMB 408,800. The prototype captured in the spy shots still wears camouflage wrap, indicating that its exterior details may not reflect the final production version. Official specifications and launch information will be revealed by Mercedes-Benz at a later date.
