Wei Jianjun Clarifies Great Wall H10 Pre-Orders Fall Short of 60,000

On August 4, Wei Jianjun, Chairman of Great Wall Motor, posted a video on Weibo responding to rumors that pre-sale orders for the Great Wall H10 had exceeded 60,000 units. He stated the figure was inaccurate—"not that high yet"—but acknowledged that pre-sale orders were "very strong." The Great Wall H10 will officially launch on August 5, offering four variants with an introductory price starting at RMB 214,800. The vehicle is available in both five-seat and six-seat configurations. The five-seater measures 5,138 mm in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,970 mm in height, while the six-seater extends to 5,299 mm in length with unchanged width and height. Both versions share a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Interior features include a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch center touchscreen, a 29-inch SR-HUD, and a 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen. The audio system is Coffee AI Sound, equipped with 21 speakers arranged in a 7.1.4.2-channel layout, supporting Dolby Atmos with a peak output of 1,560W. In terms of cargo space, the five-seater offers 815 liters of trunk capacity, expandable to 1,885 liters with the second row folded down. The six-seater provides 316 liters of trunk space, which can be extended to 1,056 liters when the third-row seats are folded. The vehicle includes a total of 42 storage compartments throughout the cabin. Powering the H10 is a Hi4 hybrid system combining a 1.5T engine with dual electric motors. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum output of 123 kW and peak torque of 243 N·m. The front motor produces up to 100 kW, while the rear motor reaches 220 kW, resulting in a combined system output of 440 kW. The powertrain is paired with a dedicated four-speed hybrid transmission. The battery pack has a capacity of 42.8 kWh, offering CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 232 km and 227 km respectively, with a maximum combined range of 1,404 km. The vehicle supports fast charging, capable of charging from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
