Lucid's CEO said on Tuesday that the company plans to launch a more affordable electric vehicle in the second half of 2027, delaying its previously scheduled rollout from late 2024. The move comes amid an "operational restructuring" involving a major business review and cost-cutting measures. Following the announcement, shares of the EV maker fell about 8% in after-hours trading.
