GAC Toyota sold 53,120 new vehicles in July 2026, with its three flagship models accounting for 22,946 units—over 43% of total sales—and the bZ brand contributing 11,586 units, or more than 21%. In the first half of 2026, GAC Toyota’s cumulative sales reached 341,107 units, including 52,202 units from the bZ brand. Additionally, GAC Toyota announced enhanced "Triple Responsibility" coverage for the bZ3X and bZ7 models. This includes manufacturer liability for battery-related fire incidents and free replacement of all battery cells if a fault occurs after more than eight years of use. The bZ7’s OTA 2.0 update will be rolled out progressively. GAC Toyota’s 10 millionth vehicle rolled off the production line at its Nansha New Energy Plant in Guangzhou, with the milestone model being the bZ7.
