From January to June 2026, nationwide inspections targeted 11,164 EV charging station operators, with random checks conducted on 145,829 in-use charging piles. These inspections identified 1,783 non-compliant units and led to legal action against 282 cases of metrological violations. During the same period, authorities inspected 43,492 gas stations nationwide, verifying 132,906 fuel dispensers in use and identifying 6,489 problematic units. Additionally, nationwide inspections covered 21,028 eyewear manufacturing and retail businesses, verifying 52,602 in-use measuring instruments and rectifying issues with 1,640 of them. Inspections also targeted 2,449 metrological verification institutions, 754 manufacturers of measuring instruments, and 11,835 utility companies providing water, electricity, and gas services. A total of 75,226,514 in-use measuring instruments were verified, with 486,855 found non-compliant. Furthermore, authorities inspected 10,842 entities involved in the production, sales, and repair of electronic price-computing scales, as well as 114,244 market and supermarket operators. They verified 1,246,362 electronic price-computing scales and confiscated or penalized 8,544 non-compliant units.
