Great Wall H10 Announces Cross-Ecosystem Integration with Xiaomi CarIoT, Supports Xiaomi Roof Rail Kit

On August 5, Great Wall Motor announced that its H10 model has achieved cross-ecosystem interoperability with Xiaomi's CarIoT platform. According to Great Wall Motor, Xiaomi’s car roof rail accessory kit can be adapted and installed onto the rear docking station of the Great Wall H10. At the 2025 Xiaomi Vehicle-Home Ecosystem Partner Conference held in December 2024, Xiaomi officially opened its CarIoT ecosystem, encompassing hardware interface standards, in-vehicle ecosystem components, vehicle-to-home connectivity, and a smart interconnected ecosystem alliance. Xiaomi has partnered with BYD, with the latter’s Fangchengbao T7 becoming the first vehicle model compatible with this ecosystem interface. GAC Toyota, as the first international automaker to join Xiaomi’s ecosystem, has integrated relevant features into its bZ7 model. The inaugural group of partners in Xiaomi’s Vehicle-Home Full Ecosystem includes BYD, GAC Toyota, Great Wall Motor, and Zhengzhou Nissan. According to Xiaomi’s published CarIoT ecosystem rollout timeline: - 2024: Deployment of physical interfaces and power-enabled CarIoT hardware components; - 2025: Mi Home opens vehicle control of home devices and launches the Smart Interconnected Ecosystem Alliance; - 2026: Mi Home enables vehicle-to-home control; - 2027: Launch of an in-vehicle central gateway.
