Wey Lanshan Not Discontinued; New Model Slated for Q4 2026

On August 5, Zhao Yongpo, CEO of WEY brand under Great Wall Motor, stated that the WEY Lanshan has not been discontinued and there are no plans to halt its production. He emphasized that the Lanshan is a key SUV product for WEY, having already been chosen by over 100,000 customers. Currently, the Lanshan is selling well in overseas markets, and domestic product updates and iterations are underway, with an all-new Lanshan model scheduled for launch in Q4 2026, positioned as an innovative breakthrough within the SUV segment. The new intelligent upgraded version of the WEY Lanshan officially launched on December 22, 2025. It is Great Wall Motor’s first six-seater plug-in hybrid SUV equipped with the VLA large AI model. All variants feature all-wheel drive and are offered in three configurations: - AWD Max, with a standard retail price of RMB 299,800 (limited-time renewal price: RMB 275,800); - AWD Max+, priced at RMB 311,800 (limited-time renewal price: RMB 287,800); - AWD Ultra “Black Warrior,” priced at RMB 326,800 (limited-time renewal price: RMB 302,800). The vehicle measures 5,156 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,805 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm. It is equipped with the CP Master advanced driver-assistance system, powered by the Thor-U chip (offering 700 TOPS of computing power) and featuring 27 intelligent sensors.
