Deepal S05 Receives DEEPAL OS 3.2 OTA Update with Over 20 New Features

Recently, the Deepal S05 received an OTA update to DEEPAL OS 3.2, covering five major areas: driver assistance, interaction experience, application content, security and privacy, and smart apps, with over 20 new and optimized features. In terms of driver assistance, the update introduces front-end parking entry, perpendicular parking exit, customizable voice wake-up commands for parking, parking status feedback, in-cabin customizable parking spot selection, and automatic parking pause when a door is opened during the process. For driving scenarios, a new Low-speed Autonomous Emergency Braking (LAEB) function has been added, which automatically applies the brakes when a frontal collision risk is detected. The intelligent cockpit now includes new features such as voice command for changing navigation destinations, video-to-TV screen mirroring, Hicar/Carlink steering wheel voice control access, voice-controlled iQiyi app, customizable home screen shortcut cards, and the new “LinkGenie” feature. LinkGenie enables WeChat-based voice vehicle control, location sharing, and vehicle-related inquiries. The AI Art Studio app is also integrated, allowing users to customize themes and wallpapers. Additionally, Amap (AutoNavi) now displays traffic light countdowns and provides blind-spot meeting warnings. At the system level, the update adds support for expanding dashcam storage via external USB drives and enhances fatigue alerts and privacy protections. The companion mobile app has also been upgraded, introducing remote keyless driving capabilities—including keyless entry, engine start, remote driving authorization, and emergency unlocking. A new Bluetooth diagnostics feature offers comprehensive troubleshooting, setup guidance, and functional recovery when Bluetooth key connection fails. A new “Door-Close Parking” card allows real-time monitoring of feature usage status.
