Recently, Hesai Group and Plus signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement. The two companies will collaborate in three core areas: L4 autonomous freight and RoboVan solutions, physical AI and data applications, and smart logistics infrastructure. Hesai will become Plus’s core strategic perception solution partner, providing high-performance LiDAR products and solutions for Plus’s autonomous heavy-duty trucks and unmanned logistics delivery vehicles, and jointly exploring commercial operations with Full Truck Alliance, a leading digital freight platform. The partnership will also combine Hesai’s multimodal 3D point cloud data with Plus’s algorithmic capabilities to enhance the training of large autonomous driving models tailored for freight scenarios, and explore LiDAR applications in logistics parks, terminals, and other settings. To advance this collaboration, both parties will establish executive-level communication and project coordination mechanisms covering product definition, testing and validation, commercialization, and large-scale deployment.
