On August 5, Huawei announced that its Qiankun Smart Driving ADS Pro V5.0 will support the Campus Navigation Cruise Assist (NCA) feature, allowing users to select a target parking space and enabling the system to assist the vehicle in navigating from the entrance of a campus to the designated spot and completing the parking maneuver. This feature is already available in over one million parking lots, covering office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, residential communities, and other scenarios. On April 23 this year, Huawei launched Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 5 and introduced WEWA 2.0, an AI agent architecture designed for autonomous driving. The WEWA 2.0 architecture employs Multi-Agent game-theoretic techniques and online reinforcement learning mechanisms in the cloud, while applying Safety Risk Field technology on the vehicle side for real-time safety assessment and optimizing travel strategies through its Driving Agent module. Huawei stated that upgrading Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 4 Max / Pro / SE to their corresponding ADS 5 versions imposes no hardware limitations.
