The 2027 GAC Aion AION RT was launched on the evening of August 5, offering four variants priced between RMB 99,800 and RMB 123,800. The specific trims and prices are as follows: - 550 Smart Enjoy: RMB 99,800 - 605 Smart Luxury: RMB 109,800 - 710 Smart Luxury: RMB 119,800 - 710 Smart Prestige: RMB 123,800 All variants come standard with CATL batteries and feature a new amorphous alloy electric drive system, delivering a maximum CLTC-rated range of 710 km. Exterior updates include semi-recessed door handles with added emergency release levers, while retaining the overall design of the current model. Dimensions remain unchanged at 4,865 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, 1,520 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.208 Cd. The interior features upgraded soft-touch materials and new stain-resistant color options, along with an 8.88-inch floating instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen. The infotainment system runs ADiGO 6.0 and supports Apple CarPlay. In terms of driver assistance, the new model ditches LiDAR and instead adopts a next-generation end-to-end intelligent driving assistant large model. It offers optional map-free urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functionality and comes standard with highway NOA and automatic parking. New active safety features include rear AEB, remote Sentry Mode viewing, tire pressure monitoring, and cabin audio recording via the dashcam.
