On the evening of August 5, XPeng Motors unveiled cabin details of its new full-size five-seater tech flagship SUV, the G9L. The vehicle debuts globally with AI-powered active zero-gravity seats that dynamically sense body changes in real time and proactively adapt to different body types and postures, accommodating nearly 98% of global users’ physiques. These seats feature active lumbar support, shoulder bolstering, adjustable seat cushion firmness, and side-wing support for both backrest and seat cushion. They offer 24-way electric adjustment, true zero-gravity recline, and 16-point full-body pneumatic massage. Integrated safety features include ABTS dual pre-tensioner load-limiting seatbelts and anti-submarining airbags within the seat cushion. The G9L also introduces a world-first function enabling simultaneous one-touch zero-gravity recline for both front and rear seats. It is the only model in its class that allows switching between a spacious flat bed over 1.8 meters long or individual beds without removing headrests. Inside the cabin, an intelligent four-motor executive center console supports voice activation, with a 360° rotatable table integrated with a smartphone holder and a vanity mirror. The armrest includes a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charger and dual hidden cup holders. Available exterior colors include Provence Purple, Tuscany Green, Everest White, and Fjord Grey. Positioned as a “global full-size five-seater tech flagship,” the G9L will be equipped with XPeng’s significantly upgraded second-generation VLA architecture and support 800V ultra-fast charging—delivering 450 km of range in just 9 minutes. The all-wheel-drive electric SUV variant of the XPeng G9L completed its official product declaration in July, measuring 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782/1,788/1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. Power comes from a dual-motor setup: the front motor delivers a rated power of 50 kW and peak power of 160 kW, while the rear motor offers a rated power of 110 kW and peak power of 270 kW, resulting in a combined system output of 430 kW.
