According to backend records, the owner exclusively used fast charging and never performed a full slow charge; prolonged adherence to this practice could lead to inaccurate state-of-charge readings. The manufacturer clarified there is no “battery locking” implemented via backend systems. The previous instance where charging stopped at 92% was due to high temperatures at a third-party charging station. Regarding the abrupt battery drop, the manufacturer reviewed data showing the charge level decreased gradually from 55% to 2%—not instantly to zero—but acknowledged the decline occurred relatively quickly. On the issue of reduced driving range, the manufacturer noted it could be influenced by driving habits, vehicle load, and road conditions, and offered to arrange for a dealership technician to accompany Ms. Lin on an on-site test drive.
