On August 6, Bugatti unveiled the bespoke hypercar Destrier, developed from the track-focused Bolide and limited to a single example worldwide. The Destrier is part of Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire—one-of-a-kind commissioning program—and represents the third creation following Brouillard and FKP Hommage. The new model retains the Bolide’s carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and its 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, producing a maximum output of 1,177 kW. However, its ride height has been lowered to 1,001 mm, making it the lowest among all Bugatti production and bespoke models. Bugatti removed the Bolide’s rear wing and additional aerodynamic components, reimagining the iconic C-line: the character line now breaks behind the front wheel arches and flows into the horseshoe-shaped grille. At the rear, an integrated spoiler—inspired by the Chiron Profilée—completes the design. Exterior finishes include an exclusive Sapphire Celeste deep blue paint embedded with diamond-like particles that create a sparkling effect under varying light conditions, complemented by polished aluminum accents and carbon fiber elements with a bluish tint. Inside, the cabin abandons the race-inspired aesthetic in favor of warm brown leather, matte-finish leather, and a 3D-knitted fabric woven with copper threads. Hammered aluminum detailing adorns the center of the steering wheel, door handles, air vents, and entrance sill plates.
