On August 7, Xiaomi Auto disclosed the wading performance data of its Pengcheng series of new energy vehicles in a Q&A session with netizens. All models in this series are equipped with a wading mode, with the N90 Max achieving a maximum wading depth of 750 mm and the N70 Max reaching 650 mm. The vehicle’s wading safety protection design includes three key features: the power battery meets dual waterproof ratings of IPX8 and IPX9K; the range extender’s air intake and the cabin pressure relief valve are elevated in design; and the interior sealing has been optimized with 27 upgraded high-waterproof caps and extensive dual-seal measures across the entire vehicle.
