On August 7, XPeng Motors announced the upcoming launch of its new model, the XPeng G9L. Positioned as a "global five-seater tech flagship SUV," the G9L has undergone three years of development since its inception and completed 6.74 million kilometers of road testing across 26 countries and regions. The vehicle measures 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782/1,788/1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100 mm. Powering the G9L is a dual-motor setup: the front motor delivers a rated power of 50 kW and peak power of 160 kW, while the rear motor offers a rated power of 110 kW and peak power of 270 kW, resulting in a combined system output of 430 kW. The G9L will be available in five exterior colors: Midnight Black, Provence Purple, Tuscany Green, Everest White, and Fjord Grey. Inside, the G9L debuts globally with AI-powered active-contouring zero-gravity seats featuring a one-touch bed mode, all designed under the "Cosmic First-Class Cabin" concept.
