FAW-Volkswagen officially released interior images of the Jetta M6 on August 7. The vehicle is Jetta brand’s first all-electric sedan. Its interior features a minimalist design, equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster paired with a large floating central touchscreen, a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel, hidden ambient lighting, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and a panoramic glass roof. The front seats can be fully reclined to align with the rear seats, creating a “bed mode.” The model was listed last month in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 409th batch of the “Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products.” Its dimensions are as follows: length 4,806 mm; width 1,868 mm or 1,895 mm; height 1,500 mm; wheelbase 2,820 mm; front track 1,625 mm; rear track 1,620 mm. It has a rated seating capacity of five passengers and curb weights of either 1,557 kg or 1,628 kg. Tire sizes are offered in 215/55 R17 or 215/50 R18. Among the four all-electric variants submitted for certification, two low-power versions feature drive motors with a peak output of 113 kW and a rated output of 57 kW, achieving a top speed of 166 km/h. Their tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) are available in both direct and indirect types. The two high-power variants are equipped with drive motors delivering a peak output of 145 kW and a rated output of 62 kW, with a top speed of 172 km/h. These also offer both direct and indirect TPMS configurations and come with different tire specifications.
