On August 7, Buick unveiled the powertrain details of the new GL8 Lushang. The vehicle is equipped with a next-generation plug-in hybrid system, delivering a CLTC combined driving range of 1,500 km and a CLTC all-electric range of 142 km. Its WLTC combined fuel consumption is rated at 1.24 L/100 km, while its WLTC fuel consumption in low-battery conditions is 6.35 L/100 km. The car achieves a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 7-second range, with a total system output of 275 kW and 560 N·m of torque. It also supports a 3.3 kW external power supply function. The new model will launch in August. The vehicle measures 5,219 mm in length, 1,878 mm in width, and 1,807 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,088 mm and a trunk capacity of up to 1,650 liters.
