Wuling Xingguang M PHEV 7-Seater MPV Completes MIIT Filing

On August 7, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the public notice for new products included in the 410th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," confirming that the Wuling Xingguang M has completed its application filing. The vehicle is a plug-in hybrid multi-purpose passenger car configured with seven seats. Its dimensions are 5,150 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and either 1,820 mm or 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system. The engine, model LBT, is manufactured by Liuzhou Saicke Technology Development Co., Ltd., with a displacement of 1,498 ml, a rated power output of 105 kW, a maximum net power of 100 kW, and a top speed of 185 km/h. The energy storage system uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries; the individual cells are supplied by Hefei Guoxuan High-Tech Power Energy Co., Ltd., and the battery pack is assembled by Saicke Ruipu Power Battery System Co., Ltd. This filing includes two variants, with curb weights of 2,180 kg and 2,325/2,370 kg, and gross vehicle weights of 2,770 kg and 2,930 kg, respectively. Both variants are equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), offer optional ETC onboard units, and come standard with an Event Data Recorder (EDR). The tire specification is 225/55R18. Optional exterior features include front bumper finishes (tungsten chrome or matte gray) and D-pillar trim options (tungsten chrome or matte gray). Higher-trim versions can be optionally equipped without a panoramic roof and with a left-side sliding door handle lacking buttons.
