Great Wall Wey V9X EV Enters MIIT Registration: 5.2-Meter-Long Six-Seater All-Electric SUV

According to the new product disclosure of the 410th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" issued by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Great Wall Motor’s WEY V9X EV has completed its registration. The vehicle is a battery electric multi-purpose passenger car with the following dimensions: length 5,299 mm, width 2,025 mm, height 1,825 mm, and wheelbase 3,150 mm. It has a rated seating capacity of six persons (including the driver). The front track measures 1,736 mm, the rear track 1,726 mm, front overhang 949 mm, and rear overhang 1,200 mm. Its curb weight is either 2,805 kg or 2,840 kg, with a gross vehicle weight rating of 3,390 kg and a maximum speed of 220 km/h. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle offers two motor configurations with outputs of 220 kW and 320 kW, supplied by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. and Great Wall Powertrain Technology (Hebei) Co., Ltd. – Xushui Branch, respectively. The energy storage system uses nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary lithium-ion batteries manufactured by SVOLT Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Standard safety features include an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and an Event Data Recorder (EDR). An ETC onboard unit is available as an optional extra. Tire options include HL 255/50R21 (load index 113) or 275/45R21. The permitted trailer weight (with brakes) is 2,000 kg. Optional equipment includes roof components, side mirrors, side cameras, beltline moldings, door handles, rear license plate brackets, tow hook openings, electrical connectors, and wheel rims. Installation of dedicated towing equipment does not alter the vehicle’s overall length.
