Dongfeng Nissan recently announced the upcoming launch of its fourth new energy vehicle, the NX7, positioned as an A+-segment SUV. The model features the brand’s latest design language, retaining split headlamps but eliminating the full-width daytime running lights. The main headlight units adopt a diamond-shaped outline paired with an L-shaped lighting chamber structure. The NX7 measures 4,785 mm in length, 1,920 mm (or 1,932 mm) in width, and 1,660 mm (or 1,665 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. At the rear, it is equipped with blacked-out full-width taillights, with the “NISSAN” lettering embedded in the center and “NX7” badges along with Dongfeng Nissan emblems on both sides. Available optional configurations include a two-tone roof, body-colored or contrasting exterior mirrors, front and rear combination lamps, and rear taillight treatments. The vehicle comes standard with an ABS anti-lock braking system and offers wheel options in either 235/60R18 or 235/55R19 sizes. Powering the NX7 is a range-extended hybrid system comprising a dedicated 1.5L plug-in hybrid engine. The electric motor delivers a peak output of 170 kW and is paired with a 40.95 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, offering two all-electric driving ranges: 220 km and 225 km. The vehicle has a top speed of 180 km/h.
