In July 2026, the Data Working Group (WG7) of the Standardization Technical Committee on Humanoid Robots and Embodied Intelligence under China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced that NavInfo Co., Ltd. has been appointed as the lead organization of WG7, tasked with spearheading the development of a unified industry data standards framework. Cheng Peng, CEO of NavInfo, serves as the head of WG7 and emphasized transforming data from a "cost" into an "asset," breaking down data silos, and accelerating the large-scale development of embodied intelligence. Leveraging its extensive experience in intelligent driving data, NavInfo has built an end-to-end closed-loop system covering data collection, governance, training, evaluation, and compliant circulation. At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the company unveiled its comprehensive agent-data solution for the first time, which includes high-precision data acquisition hardware, data compliance services, and six scenario-specific application packages (for humanoid robots, industrial robotic arms, autonomous vehicles, quadruped robots, etc.). During the Yizhuang Robot Marathon in Beijing, the top three competing devices all utilized NavInfo’s Precision Spatiotemporal Data Solution, which centers on precise spatiotemporal data, integrated positioning technologies, and end-to-end data security and compliance. Additionally, NavInfo has been selected as a benchmark case study in the "Beijing Digital Economy Enterprises International Research Report (2026)."
