Yueda Kia July Sales Surge 24.9% YoY; All-New Seltos Launches Pre-sales on August 13

Yueda Kia reported July 2026 sales of 25,032 units, up 24.9% year-over-year, marking the fourth consecutive month with monthly sales exceeding 20,000 units. Cumulative sales from January to July reached 143,146 units. On July 28, Yueda Kia released a teaser video announcing the official launch of the all-new Seltos in the Chinese market, with pre-sales set to begin on August 13. The new Seltos is the second-generation model, built to Kia’s global manufacturing standards and further optimized through localization to meet Chinese consumers’ preferences. All variants come standard with a 27-inch ultra-slim widescreen display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295P chip. The vehicle features a digitally intelligent cabin co-developed by Kia’s China-based R&D team and local users, offering in-car KTV functionality and 12 built-in games for entertainment. In terms of powertrains, the new Seltos offers two options: a 1.5L engine paired with an IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission) and a 1.5T turbocharged engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT). The 1.5T variant delivers a maximum output of 200 horsepower and peak torque of 253 N·m, while the 1.5L version produces 115 horsepower and 144 N·m of torque, with a combined fuel consumption of 6.54 L/100 km. The vehicle also features four driving modes and three traction modes. Units have already started arriving at dealerships nationwide.
