Xiaomi Auto Reveals Interior Design Differences Among SU7, YU7, and Pengcheng Series

On August 7, Xiaomi Auto updated its official Q&A section to address user inquiries regarding interior design and the differences between the SU7 and YU7 models. The company stated that both the SU7 and YU7 are positioned as “driver’s cars,” guided by the design philosophy “Design for Passion,” emphasizing driving experience and equal comfort for both driver and front passenger. In contrast, the Xiaomi Pengcheng series is positioned as a smart, spacious SUV with flexible configurations, following the “Design for Life” philosophy, which prioritizes meeting the needs of all passengers and diverse lifestyle scenarios. The Pengcheng series features a flat-floor interior, extra-long sliding rails, swiveling seats, and other elements where form follows spatial functionality. Currently, physical Pengcheng vehicles are available at 499 stores across 146 cities nationwide. Users can check display vehicle information via the Xiaomi Auto app and visit stores between August 8 and August 16 to view the cars in person and receive a complimentary travel storage bag. Additionally, test drive reservations for the SU7 Ultra and YU7 GT are now open at stores, with some locations offering same-day delivery in as little as two hours for in-stock vehicles.
