BYD Unveils New Color for 2027 Seagull 06; First Display Models Arrive at Dealerships

On August 7, Zhang Zhuo, General Manager of BYD Auto's Ocean Network Sales Division, unveiled official images of the new color option for the 2027 Seagull 06. The name of the new color has not yet been announced. On the same day, the first batch of display vehicles arrived at over 300 dealerships across 118 cities nationwide. Positioned as a “fully equipped B-segment family sedan,” the 2027 Seagull 06 largely retains the design of the current model but features a cleaner front fascia and a redesigned full-width taillight assembly at the rear. The roof is equipped with a LiDAR sensor to support advanced driver-assistance functions. Based on the Seagull 06 EV launched in June 2023, the vehicle is offered in three trim levels, priced between RMB 109,800 and RMB 129,800. It measures 4,720 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The Seagull 06 EV is equipped with the "God’s Eye C" triple-camera advanced driver-assistance system, supporting highway navigation assist and parking assist. It offers two rear-mounted single-motor variants with maximum outputs of 110 kW and 160 kW, respectively.
