According to the new product disclosure of the 410th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" issued by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), FAW-Volkswagen has completed the declaration for the Sagitar L HEV. This model is a gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle that cannot be externally charged, equipped with nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary lithium-ion battery packs supplied by Nanjing Xinwangda New Energy Co., Ltd., which provides both individual cells and complete battery assemblies. The engine model is FAV, with a displacement of 1,498 ml and maximum power output of 81 kW. The drive motor has a rated power of 60 kW and peak power of 110 kW, enabling a top speed of 163 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) system and offers optional installations of an onboard video driving recorder (DVR) and an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) device. The ABS system is manufactured by Omwe Automotive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., model MK120 ESC. The differences between the two variants are as follows: - Model FV7156BATEHEV: Curb weight 1,534 kg, gross vehicle weight 1,980 kg, tire size 205/55 R17, front track 1,571 mm, rear track 1,544 mm, and supports both direct and indirect tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). - Model FV7156BATEAHEV: Curb weight 1,552 kg, gross vehicle weight 2,000 kg, tire size 225/45 R18, front track 1,566 mm, rear track 1,538 mm, and supports only a direct TPMS.
