According to the公示 (public notice) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 410th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," Leapmotor's Lafa5 all-electric sedan has completed its product declaration, with three variants listed. All three models feature a unibody construction, are rated for five passengers, have a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, a top speed of 180 km/h, and offer tire options of either 225/45 R19 or 235/45 R19. The FZ7000BEVB05J variant has a curb weight of 1,750 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2,125 kg. It is equipped with an electric motor delivering a peak power of 185 kW and a rated power of 70 kW. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells produced by either Hubei EVE Power or Sunwoda Power, with the complete battery pack assembled by Lingxiao Energy Technology (Huzhou). This version offers optional features including LiDAR, a high-mounted rear camera, different side skirt designs, privacy glass, a rear spoiler, a panoramic sunroof, and an onboard ETC device. The FZ7000BEVB05L variant also has a curb weight of 1,750 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2,125 kg, with the same motor specifications (185 kW peak / 70 kW rated). Its LFP battery cells are supplied by CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited), while the battery pack is likewise assembled by Lingxiao Energy Technology (Huzhou). The LFP battery cells for this version are sourced from either Gotion High-Tech (Hefei) or Jiangsu Zhengli New Energy, with the battery pack again assembled by Lingxiao Energy Technology (Huzhou). This variant also supports optional configurations such as LiDAR. All three variants are equipped with ZF Automotive Systems (Shanghai)'s IBC GEN2.1 anti-lock braking system (ABS) and Event Data Recorder (EDR).
