According to the public notice of new products in the 410th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products" issued by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Great Wall Motor's WEY brand has completed the application for its all-new Gao Shan 8 Hi4. The vehicle is a gasoline-electric hybrid multi-purpose passenger car that cannot be externally charged. It measures 5,280 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,900 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,145 mm and a rated seating capacity of seven passengers. In terms of powertrain, the vehicle is equipped with a GW4N20B engine manufactured by Great Wall Motor Company Limited, featuring a displacement of 1,998 ml, a maximum engine output of 175 kW, and a net power output of 170 kW. Its top speed reaches 190 km/h, and it complies with China’s National VI emission standards. The energy storage system uses nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary lithium battery cells and modules produced by SVOLT Energy Technology (Ma'anshan) Co., Ltd. The vehicle has a curb weight of 2,660 kg and a gross vehicle weight rating of 3,230 kg. It features a unibody construction and is equipped with an EAI-R anti-lock braking system (ABS) supplied by Fige Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., along with a standard Event Data Recorder (EDR). Additionally, optional features include solid-color body paint, wheels of different specifications, and an onboard ETC device.
