Jinan Launches $7M Auto Purchase Subsidy Program; Applications Open Aug 20 at 10 AM

On the evening of August 7, the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Commerce announced that the "Full Throttle · Quancheng Auto Purchase" new vehicle subsidy program for 2026 will officially open for applications starting at 10:00 a.m. on August 20. The program allocates RMB 50 million in subsidy funds for individuals and organizations purchasing new non-commercial passenger vehicles from participating auto dealers in Jinan. Applicants are not restricted by household registration or vehicle registration location, and subsidies will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. The subsidy amount is tiered into five levels based on the pre-tax price indicated on the purchase invoice. Eligible vehicles must have a Uniform Invoice for Motor Vehicle Sales issued on or after July 15, 2026. This subsidy cannot be combined with Jinan’s 2026 auto trade-in (including scrappage replacement and exchange replacement) subsidy policies, and each new vehicle qualifies for only one subsidy.
