SpaceX AI Unveils Imagine Image 2.0

SpaceX AI today launched the Imagine Image 2.0 model, now available on the G web platform, as well as iOS and Android apps. Operating as a quality mode, Imagine Image 2.0 follows user instructions more precisely, handles detailed requirements effectively, plans typography and layout structures within complex visual content, maintains consistency across multi-part compositions, and enhances the clarity of small-sized text. The model preserves user-specified subjects and settings across multiple rounds of generation and editing. Enhanced features include a magic wand tool, segmentation, background removal, and multi-reference image editing, enabling localized modifications and asset reuse. Its intelligent resizing function automatically completes the image frame after users select a target aspect ratio. Trained specifically for photography, design, and illustration scenarios, the model currently ranks second globally on both the Arena Text-to-Image and ImageEdit leaderboards for text-to-image generation and image editing capabilities, trailing only OpenAI’s GPTImage2 model.
