Huawei Qiankun Launches Valet Charging Service with Autonomous Navigation and Auto-Payment

Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Automotive Solution has recently launched a valet charging service. Through the Qiankun app, vehicle owners can remotely send charging commands. The car then uses Qiankun ADS autonomous driving capabilities to navigate itself to an available charging spot and automatically opens the charging port cover. A robotic arm, equipped with visual positioning technology, connects the charging gun to complete fully automated, unattended charging. During the process, the system continuously syncs real-time battery status and estimated full-charge time to the owner’s smartphone and supports seamless automatic payment. Once charging is complete, the robotic arm automatically disconnects and returns the charging gun to its dock, and the vehicle autonomously drives to a location specified by the owner to await pickup. This feature is part of Huawei’s proposed “10-Minute Qiankun Intelligent Driving Lifestyle Circle,” which also encompasses everyday scenarios such as valet car washing and frictionless payment.
