On August 8, Xiaomi Auto rolled out the OTA 1.17 system update to all variants of the YU7 model lineup. In terms of parking features, the update introduces "frame-based parking," allowing users to define a parking spot via the central touchscreen even in the absence of standard parking lines. It also supports front-in/rear-out parking modes and enables seamless switching between perpendicular and angled parking spaces. For driving safety, the update optimizes urban navigation lane selection during turns, improves speed control and lane-change logic on high-speed roads with sharp curves, and refines the smoothness of driving assistance. The 4D millimeter-wave radar has been upgraded to enhance collision-avoidance detection stability in low-visibility conditions such as rain or fog, and a new low-speed forward-reverse alert function has been added. Regarding the intelligent cabin, the large-model-powered "Super XiaoAI" is now enabled by default. The Qisui Music app is now available and can be added to the driving desktop. The Zero-Gravity seats now include a secondary confirmation step—when the rear seats are locked or child seats are installed, physical buttons will no longer directly trigger seat adjustments. The mobile app now offers remote rapid cooling/heating and a seat anti-pinch rollback feature. On the charging ecosystem front, the 20kW home DC charger now supports vehicle-side scheduled charging and can automatically resume interrupted charging sessions after power outages or shutdowns. The app also adds a charging statistics feature, enabling users to view charging volume and duration by day, month, or year, and to estimate electricity costs by inputting local electricity rates.
