BAIC Group announced it will hold a delivery ceremony for its 40-millionth customer on August 10 at the Beijing Automotive Industry R&D Base. The event will feature an all-brand vehicle experience zone, showcasing multiple models from BAIC’s portfolio, including BAIC Off-road, Beijing Hyundai, Arcfox, Stelato, Foton Motor, Beijing Benz, and Fujian Benz. According to data, in the first half of 2024, BAIC Group achieved cumulative sales of 795,000 vehicles, of which 533,000 were from its own brands, up 14.2% year-on-year. New energy vehicle (NEV) sales reached 181,000 units, an increase of 22.6% year-on-year, while exports totaled 184,000 units, up 30.8% year-on-year. From January to July 2024, BAIC’s NEV terminal deliveries amounted to 126,675 units, surging 82.55% year-on-year.
