Huawei HiCar rolled out its official version 7.0.0.300 (70000300) upgrade on the Huawei AppGallery at the end of July 2024. The new version allows users to directly launch Driving Mode from their smartphones and introduces landscape display support, enabling simultaneous viewing of navigation, music, contacts, and other functions. Additionally, this update supports automatic pop-up notifications for WeChat calls on the car’s infotainment screen, allowing one-tap answering on the larger display.
