Leapmotor A05 Unveils Seven Color Options, Launching August 10

On August 8, Leapmotor unveiled the full range of seven color options for the Leapmotor A05, including Morgan Pink, Rime Rice, Nori Green, Tundra Gray, Pine Mist Gray, Berry Blue, and the metallic black exclusive to the Leapmotor A05s. Blind pre-orders for the model opened on July 27, with a deposit of just RMB 99 granting buyers 5,000 exclusive energy points. According to reports, the Leapmotor A05 will officially launch on August 10. The Leapmotor A05 measures 4,200 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,560 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm. It features semi-recessed door handles and a floating roof design, and offers an optional LiDAR sensor. The rear end is highlighted by smile-shaped taillights. According to MIIT data, the vehicle will be available with two battery pack options—39.8 kWh and 53 kWh—delivering respective CLTC-rated ranges of 405 km and 510 km. In terms of specifications, the Leapmotor A05 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and equipped with an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen. It supports a microphone-free karaoke feature and comes with a 12-speaker audio system.
