Great Wall Ora 7 Wagon Files with MIIT, Positioned as Midsize EV Sedan

The Great Wall Ora 7 station wagon completed its filing with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in June 2024. The vehicle is produced by Spotlight Automotive Ltd. in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, and is positioned as a mid-size all-electric sedan. It measures 4,820 mm in length, 1,850/1,870 mm in width, and 1,520 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. The car has a rated seating capacity of five passengers, a curb weight of 1,850 kg, and a gross vehicle weight of 2,250 kg. Powering the vehicle is a drive motor (model QT36TZ220001) manufactured by Powertrain Technologies (Pizhou) Co., Ltd., delivering a maximum output of 160 kW and a top speed of 180 km/h. The battery pack, supplied by SVOLT Energy Technology, uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells. The car comes equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS), features a standard Event Data Recorder (EDR), and offers an optional ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) onboard unit.
