On August 9, Deng Chenghao, Chairman of Deepal Auto, stated that the all-new Deepal S05 officially launched on August 6, offering five variants priced between RMB 119,900 and RMB 151,900, with a limited-time promotional price range of RMB 115,900 to RMB 144,900. The vehicle measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. It is available in two CLTC pure-electric range versions—520 km and 620 km—powered by CATL-supplied battery packs of 56.12 kWh and 68.82 kWh, respectively. Deng revealed that nearly 10,000 units of the S05 had already been produced prior to its launch. A widespread vehicle shortage across China in the second half of July negatively impacted sales for the month. In August, global production is expected to exceed 20,000 units, with over 15,000 units allocated to the domestic market.
