BYD Seal 06 2027 Model Launches August 11, Starting at RMB 105,000

BYD will launch the 2027 Seagull 06 on August 11, with market estimates suggesting a starting price of approximately RMB 105,000. The new model features a closed-off front fascia and integrated headlights, eliminating the previous air intake ducts. Its side profile retains a fastback coupe silhouette, complemented by a black floating roof and multi-spoke sporty alloy wheels. At the rear, it sports full-width taillights and a blacked-out rear diffuser. Inside, the cabin adopts an enveloping layout, equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster, a floating central touchscreen, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The center console island includes a wireless phone charger and dual cup holders. Positioned as a midsize sedan, the vehicle measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The plug-in hybrid variant is powered by BYD’s fifth-generation DM-i system, featuring a dedicated 1.5L plug-in hybrid engine producing a maximum output of 74 kW. It offers two electric motor options delivering 120 kW or 240 kW. Pure electric range comes in three versions: 170 km, 205 km, and 230 km. The all-electric version is available with either a 120 kW or 240 kW single-motor configuration.
