On August 7, Jiang Wen, head of the MONA series R&D at XPeng Motors, stated that supply fluctuations of advanced-process chips impacted production in August. However, the supply chain issues have now been largely resolved, and the factory has switched to double-shift operations to maximize output. Production efficiency in August nearly doubled, and the company expects to reach full capacity in September and October. The MONA L03 was launched in Munich, Germany, on July 16, priced between RMB 123,800 and RMB 156,800. Within one hour of its launch, it received 46,859 firm orders. Delivery lead times are currently 12–16 weeks for the BEV version and 7–11 weeks for the range-extended version. On the same day, Leapmotor announced that the 100,000th unit of its Leapmotor A10 rolled off the production line—just 135 days after the model’s launch on March 26. The Leapmotor A10 is available with two battery options: 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh, offering a maximum CLTC range of 505 km. It features the SA8155 cockpit chip and SA8650 ADAS chip, along with LiDAR. In July alone, the company delivered 28,593 units. Also on August 7, NIO announced that its battery swap service has surpassed 120 million cumulative swaps. On the same day, its 4,000th battery swap station—and the first batch of its fifth-generation stations—entered operation, serving three brands: NIO, ONVO, and Firefly. As of that date, NIO has deployed 1,049 highway swap stations across 550 cities nationwide. On August 5, Arcfox (a subsidiary of BAIC BluePark) opened reservations for its new SHIYE G9, a rugged SUV positioned in the RMB 500,000 segment. In July, the vehicle obtained Beijing’s L3 autonomous driving road test license for speeds up to 120 km/h. On August 7, CATL implemented its interim cash dividend for 2026, distributing RMB 14.11 (pre-tax) per 10 shares based on a total of 4.38 billion shares, amounting to approximately RMB 6.18 billion in total dividends. The record date was August 7, with ex-dividend trading commencing on August 10.
