iCAR V25, a model under Chery, will hold an "exclusive preview" event in Chengdu on August 14. The vehicle was registered with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in July 2024 and is positioned as a tech-savvy, stylish, entry-level premium SUV. It features a boxy design and is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR system. The iCAR V25 is a plug-in extended-range hybrid multi-purpose passenger vehicle with dimensions of 4,636 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,855 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm, offering seating for five passengers. Its top speed reaches 180 km/h. It is powered by an engine designated SQRH4J15, manufactured by Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., with a displacement of 1,499 ml and a maximum output of 115 kW. The engine’s maximum net power is 105 kW, and its fuel consumption under WLTC conditions is rated at 1.54 L/100 km. The energy storage system uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. The individual battery cells are produced by Hefei Guoxuan High-Tech Power Energy Co., Ltd., while the battery pack assembly is handled by Anhui Ruilu Technology Co., Ltd.
