According to South Korean media reports on August 10, Samsung Electronics' yield rate for its HBM4 memory has now approached 80%, up from 60% when initial mass production began in February this year. Samsung plans to more than triple its HBM4 sales this quarter compared to the previous quarter and aims to have HBM4 account for over 60% of its total HBM revenue in the second half of the year. The company also targets achieving an HBM market share by year-end comparable to its overall DRAM market share.
